The Commercial Loan Officer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing new and existing profitable business relationships by generating loans and referring credit union services. The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for generating leads, understanding Credit Union systems, loan policies, product knowledge and financial analysis. The ideal candidate has strong sales skills and an understanding of the potential growth and risk within the portfolio. This individual is a well-organized, self-starter that adheres to the Credit Union's lending policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lending. Loan origination, credit analysis and credit counseling experience a must. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Develop and maintain relationships within the great New York area. Specifically with the real estate community. Exceed sales goals by finding potential clients, individuals or businesses, in need of loans; communicating mortgage programs and guidelines to potential clients to originate loans.
Analyze and verify applications to determine the creditworthiness. Complete mortgage loans by monitoring collection, verification, and preparation of mortgage loan documentation; assisting in the clearance of mortgage loan pipeline.
Coordinate all aspects of mortgage process as the mortgage relationship manager from application to closing by utilizing key personnel within EAZZY CONSULTING to provide extraordinary value and service to all members, potential members, realtors, and clients. Meets mortgage loan operational standards by contributing mortgage loan information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and member-service standards; resolving problems; identifying mortgage loan system improvements.
Comply with all aspects of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulatory requirements as it relates to this position.
